The new ProAdapt collection by Tempur-Pedic has quickly become the most sought-after mattresses in the industry.  It features many upgrades from the entry level Adapt series.  This level also has the most comfort options that Tempur-Pedic currently offers.  I will go through the upgraded features and comfort options to help better understand the difference on the Adapt and ProAdapt collections.

ProAdapt Upgrades:

  • TEMPUR-APR Foam:  This version of the Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam is a higher cell count than the original material.  The cell count makes the foam more contouring and higher definition.  
  • TEMPUR-ES: This layer adds a softer more comfortable layer that gives an instant comfort past models didn’t have.
  • 4 Comfort Options: The ProAdapt comes in Firm, Medium, Medium Hybrid and Soft. 
  • SmartClimate® Dual Cover System:  High yarn density for a cooler cover that stays cool throughout the night. 





These upgrades are very important for Tempur-Pedic.  These are the most user-friendly products they have made to date. Tempur-Pedic mattresses have always been very high-performance mattresses and highly recommended for people with back problems.  In the past, the comfort was the one thing that turned consumers off.  Older models were too firm for most people and lacked an initial comfort when first laying down.  The new ProAdapt is a game changer.  The Tempur-ES layer makes the mattress instantly comfortable and the inclusion of a soft option will mean that people who like a soft feel will finally have an option that they never had before.
